Get answers to common questions about Full Arm Waxing.
A full arm wax typically takes 20–35 minutes depending on hair density and skin sensitivity. We include a brief consultation and prep; please arrive with clean, dry skin. First appointments may take slightly longer to ensure comfort and technique.
Most clients experience brief pinching; discomfort is usually mild and short-lived. Techniques like steady breathing, topical numbing, and experienced technicians reduce pain. Avoid caffeine beforehand and consider timing around your cycle if you are especially sensitive.
Ideally hair should be about 1/4 inch (roughly two to three weeks of growth) for the wax to grip effectively. If hair is longer, we can trim; too short and the wax won't remove hair properly, reducing effectiveness.
Avoid sun exposure, hot baths, and vigorous exercise for 24–48 hours. Keep skin moisturized with fragrance-free lotion and exfoliate gently after 48 hours to prevent ingrown hairs. Use soothing products provided by our salon for optimum healing.
If you have sensitive skin or allergies, notify your technician beforehand. We offer a patch test and hypoallergenic or hard-wax options to minimize reactions. Severe allergies may require medical advice; your safety and comfort are our priority.
Maintenance is usually every four to six weeks, depending on your personal hair growth cycle. Regular waxing often results in finer, sparser regrowth, extending intervals. Your technician can recommend a customized schedule based on results and preferences.
