Get answers to common questions about Lash Tints.
Lash tinting usually lasts about 4–6 weeks, depending on your natural lash growth cycle and shedding. Avoid oil-based cleansers and heavy eye products to extend results; schedule touch-ups every 4–6 weeks or as lashes naturally fade.
Yes—tints are ideal for light or gray lashes, enhancing contrast and creating a richer, fuller appearance. Our technicians customize dye shades for your coloring and perform a patch test to ensure safe, flattering results tailored to your eye and skin tone.
Many clients with sensitivity or contacts tolerate lash tints well. We perform a patch test and can adjust products or techniques. Contact lens wearers should remove lenses during service. If you have known dye allergies or eye infections, postpone treatment and consult your healthcare provider.
Avoid water, steam, or makeup on lashes for the first 24 hours. Use oil-free cleansers and avoid oil-based eye creams to prolong dye. Be gentle when cleansing and skip mascara to maintain color. Schedule touch-ups when tint begins to fade, around four to six weeks.
Reactions are uncommon but possible. We conduct patch tests and use professional dyes to reduce risk. Disclose any known sensitivities, recent eye procedures, or medications. If you experience redness, swelling, or discomfort during or after treatment, contact us and seek medical attention if symptoms persist.
Plan for about twenty to thirty minutes including consultation, patch testing if needed, and the tint application. First-time clients may need extra time for shade selection and client history. Please arrive with clean, makeup-free eyes to keep your appointment on schedule.
